I'm currently running SQL Server 2008 R2 and a mirror with the same version. I'm contemplating upgrading to 2016. Eventually I'd like to use the always on availability feature. But until then I'm wondering if I can run a 2008 R2 (primary) and a 2016 Mirror. I'd like to migrate both servers at the same time, this is more of a contingency plan.THANKS!David92595
