I have installed 2016 SQL Server instance which has ReportDb of compatibility 2012.SSRS is of 2012 version, when I point the database to the named instance of 2016,I get error message :"The version of the report server database is either in a format that is not valid or it cannot be read.The found version is 175, expected version is 162.(rsInvalidReportServerDatabase).I tried to delete record from table ServerUpgradeHistory, but it didn't work either.Do i need to have SSRS 2016 installed in order to connect to Report Server database even though compatibility is 2012?
