mirroring: restore principal db into alternative db

Hello,
lets suppose there is a 2-node SQL mirroring configuration in High Safety mode (synchronous). There is a 3rd party backup system for backing up principal databases + trx logs.
We want to simply verify 3rd party system restore functionality
